How do you feel when someone makes you look bad, when lies are told about you?
If you are like me, you want to set the record straight.
Yet in this day, it seems the more a believer tries to tell the truth, the more the unbelievers twist it to a lie.
We cannot fight all of these unbelievers can we?
It seems the more we try to defend ourselves, the guiltier the world thinks we are.
What has happened to the phrase “Innocent until proven guilty?”
The news media and others have your trial verdict singed, sealed and delivered before you even fully know what is being said about you.
Please read the following verses.
19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Wow, as hard as it is to let the Lord take care of our problems, another scripture agrees with this one.
1 I call on the Lord in my distress,
2 Save me, O Lord, from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues.
3 What will he do to you,
and what more besides, O deceitful tongue?
4 He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows,
with burning coals of the broom tree.
Therefore, when we are accosted by words and lies, tell the truth and then let the Lord deal with it.
He is the best advocate ever.
He is paying attention to our lives and will make all injustices right.
Simply believe this brothers and sisters, believe it with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. Amen!
