“Waiting for the Lord”
As believers, we have many works to do that the Lord has given us. But at the same time, we are waiting to go be with our Lord Jesus. And we can do two things at once.
As I have said in this space before, I am ready for the Lord whenever He is ready for me.
Now being human, certainly, I would like to see our grandchildren grow, get married, and have children.
But I realize that being with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven far outweighs and earthly events that we might miss.
Please read the following verses. Psalms 130:1-6 A song of ascents.
1 Out of the depths, I cry to you, O Lord; 2 O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. 3 If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? 4 But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared. 5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word, I put my hope. 6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Come, Lord Jesus, even today. We wait for your appearing in the air to call your Church out of this world, or we await the day when it will be our time to cross the threshold of death.
Have a tremendous day in the Lord.
Be Blessed, Be a Blessing;
