A Thought for Today – February 15, 2020

“Our Sins, Paid in Full”
As believers, we are glad that our sins have been paid for. Even though we didn’t need to make the payment, we never want to forget how much they cost the Godhead.

Please, read the following verses.

Matthew 27:45-50

45 Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, there was darkness over all the land. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
47 Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, “This Man is calling for Elijah!” 48 Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink.
49 The rest said, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to save Him.”
50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit.

Never forget the debt of gratitude we owe to the Lord God.
We can never repay Christ for what He did on our behalf.
We can please Him however when we call Him as our Lord and Savior and follow the leading of His Spirit.

This is available to any who will receive Him as Lord and Savior.
And we don’t have to reach some level; of goodness.
He will take us where we are, no matter what we have done.

Call out to Him, receive Him and live.

Be Blest, Be a Blessing.
