“Jesus is God”

Do you tackle the storms of life alone? If you do, I have a question for you. How is that working out for you?
As humans, perhaps this affects guys more than gals, we think we should be able to navigate our lives without help. asking for help makes us look weak.
So we try to achieve our agenda without help from anyone.
Please read the following verses.

Matthew 8:23-27

23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

I wonder how embarrassed the disciples were after the fact. Some of them were used to being on the water, fishing had been their livelihood.
But doubt soon entered their minds. How could Jesus sleep when they were all going to die?

As I have said before in this space, Jesus is fully God, fully man. This answers the disciple’s question about who He is. And Jesus shows all of us, how we can approach life’s storms when they come. If we cling to Jesus, we have the faith and confidence that we can come through life’s storms.
Being fearful, being afraid of losing our lives puts tremendous pressure on our lives. COVID 19 has put tremendous pressure on our lives. Remember, if the believer loses their earthly life, we move to the marvelous Kingdom of God in heaven.

As believers, we take the advice and instruction from our medical people to care for ourselves and others. Our faith in Jesus Christ helps us navigate the bumps, scuffs, and sometimes disasters in our lives.

Jesus scolded the disciples for their lack of faith.
We always will have times in our life when our faith is not as strong as we had hoped. Remember, we are not going through life alone. We have a Lord and Savior watching over us and we will not go through anything that will separate us from Him.

Have a tremendous day in the Lord,

Let everything that has breath (this includes you) Praise and thank the Lord.

Be Blessed,

Be a Blessing;

Amen
