“Jesus Came to Make the Sick Healthy “

Now you may think that thought doesn’t sound right. But Jesus said something very similar, in His ministry.

Please read the following verses. Matthew 9:9-13

9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. 10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?” 12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Oh, so are you saying that Jesus came to earth only to have a healing ministry?
Yes, you might say that. But not all of His healings were physical.
The miraculous deeds that Jesus did, were to show the power of God was in Him, that He was the Messiah, He was God.
But He came to heal everyone from their sinful deeds. So how many people is that? This group includes all of us, every person that has ever lived.
We are all born into sin, we all have inherited the sin nature of Adam. So we are all sick. There is no doctor or home remedy that can take away our sins. Only Jesus Christ can do this. He said on the cross, it is finished. What was finished, His life?
The way for us to be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life living with the Godhead, there was a price for that, Jesus paid that price on a tree on Golgotha. And He gave mankind an offer. Jesus blood for their sin.
If you have not accepted that offer, do so. Accept that offer today, don’t wait another second.

Have a tremendous day in the Lord,

Let everything that has breath (this includes you) Praise and thank the Lord.

Be Blessed,

Be a Blessing;
