“Miracle Working Power”
The Lord Jesus Christ performed many miracles.

Please read the following verses and see an example of them.

Matthew 9:27-38
27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.
29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”
31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus.
33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

The last three verses don’t deal with miracles, but simple facts.
The Lord God wants more workers in His field.
What is He raising, corn, wheat, cotton, beans?

No, the message of the Gospel is raising up new believers. And the Lord God wants more people working for Him.

These verses inspired a beautiful song, a somber song that asks, who will work in the Lord God’s field.

My House Is Full (But My Field Is Empty)
Hit Co. Masters
There is peace and contentment in my Father’s house today
Lots of food on the table and no one is turned away
There is singing and laughter as the hours pass by
But a hush calms the singing as the Father sadly cries

My house is full, but my field is empty
Who will go and work for Me today
It seems my children all want to stay around my table
But no one wants to work my field
No one wants to work my field

Push away from the table
Look out through the windowpane
Just beyond this house of plenty
Lies a field of golden grain
And it’s ripened unto harvest
But the reapers, where are they?
In the house
Oh, count the children
Hear the Father sadly say

My house is full, but my field is empty
Who will go and work for Me today
It seems my children all want to stay around my table
But no one wants to work my field
No one wants to work my field
The Lord Jesus still looks for workers. Who can work for Hin? All believers. We should be so hay that the Lord has saved us that we can’t wait to sager this good news. There might be news we don’t like to share, maybe we are ill, possibly with a serious condition.

Most people love sharing good news, possible you received a promotion at work or a new job, or your family is expanding with the birth of a new baby.

The good news of Jesus Christ and His plan of salvation is the best news we can share.

So believer, get up from the table and out into the Lord’s field, doing the work He has equipped you to do. Amen
Be Blest, Be a Blessing
