“Christ’s Invitation”

Many times people wonder what we should do as believers?
At first, there may be great excitement being a new believer but as we move past our salvation moment, we don’t feel as excited anymore. The luster wears off and we might easily settle into our normal way of living.

Well, for one thing, salvation is not about getting chills down your spine. Another thing, the Lord has plenty for us to do after we are saved.

Please read the following verses .Matthew 9:35-38

35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Remember, we cannot earn our salvation, there are not enough works we can do to earn our salvation. But once we are saved, we have ample opportunity to work for the Lord, for as long as we live.

Scripture tells us another truth in Ephesians 2:10

10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

So believers, might we get out of our selfish style of living and live for the Lord. The works we have to do will continue in heaven. I don’t know what all the Lord will have for us to do, but it will be wonderful.
All evil will be gone and all the Lord’s ways will prevail. (His will prevails now but sometimes Satan gets his grubby hands on things for a while. His time is quickly expiring. 🙂

Have a tremendous day in the Lord,

Let everything that has breath (this includes you) Praise and thank the Lord.

Be Blessed,

Be a Blessing;
