“Can I Be Good Enough to be Saved?”

NO! now wait, what did you say?

NO!

But you don’t know me, I am pretty good and surely that will save me.

DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT!

Look what the Lord God has to say about sinful mankind.

Please read the following verses.

Romans 3:9-18

9 What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. 10 As it is written:

“There is no one righteous, not even one;

11 there is no one who understands,

no one who seeks God.

12 All have turned away,

they have together become worthless;

there is no one who does good,

not even one.”

13 “Their throats are open graves;

their tongues practice deceit.”

“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”

14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”

15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;

16 ruin and misery mark their ways,

17 and the way of peace they do not know.”

18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Well, then how are we saved. Jesus Christ, the One and only Son of God came to earth as a baby. He wet through all the trials of life and was without sin. He took the sin of the world upon Himself and gave His life on a cruel cross to pay the penalty from sin. Jesus Christ has done the work, It is finished He said from the cross, meaning the price for all the sin of the world for all time had been paid.

How to we become saved. We understand that we are sinners. We understand that one sin breaks our relationship with the Lord God. So we accept Jesus offer, His blood for our sin.

When we make that decision we are baptized into the Body of Christ. Our sons are gone, they are as far away from us as the east is from the west.

Jesus, we just want to thank You,

Jesus, we just want to thank You,

Jesus, we just want to thank You,

Thank You for being so good.

VERSE 2:

Jesus, we just want to praise You,

Jesus, we just want to praise You,

Jesus, we just want to praise You,

Praise You for being so good.

VERSE 3:

Savior, we just want to serve You,

Savior, we just want to serve You,

Savior, we just want to serve You,

Serve You for being so good.

VERSE 4:

Jesus, we know You are coming,

Jesus, we know You are coming,

Jesus, we know You are coming,

Take us to live in Your home.
