“I Know That My Redeemer Lives”
As you read in Job, he and his friends have quite the discourse.
As you read arguments and counterarguments, you come to the following verses.
25 I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end, he will stand upon the earth.
26 And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
27 I myself will see him
with my own eyes — I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!
What a great and marvelous statement of faith.
Job does not make this statement of faith when all is going well.
He is in the midst of great loss, personal agony and pain.
I pray that we might all say the same as Job does.
Endorse these wonderful words of scripture, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.
