We often hear the word legacy these days, especially from politicians. How will they be remembered?
Please read the following verses.
20 This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God.
21a In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly.
As one reads the books of Kings and Chronicles, it can be somewhat disturbing.
It sure seems like Israel does not have good kings and Judah does not have many.
King Hezekiah of Judah was a good king.
I just read two chapters of all the good he did.
I would say verse 21 is his legacy.
I would challenge believers everywhere, that when our time on earth is done, we too might be found serving the Lord God.
I pray we would run all of our decisions before Him, that none of the areas of our lives would be off limits to Him.
The name of the song below is not “I Surrender Some” but “I Surrender All.”
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live
Worldly pleasures all forsaken
Take me, Jesus, take me now,
Make me Savior wholly thine
May Thy Holy Spirit fill me
May I know Thy power divine
