“Born for a Purpose, Equipped When Needed”

To see the truth of this thought, please read the following verses.
Jeremiah 1:4-10

4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying,5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”6 “Ah, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.”7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “Now, I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
This kind of thing happens numerous times in the Bible.

Check out Psalm 139 that shows the Lord God has known us before we were conceived. Check out the account of Moses in Genesis to see how the Lord God gave him what he needed to work for the Lord and when he needed it.

Jeremiah complained like Moses saying he couldn’t speak.

Brothers and sisters, the Lord God will use us in remarkable ways. He will have us do things we couldn’t do before we knew Him. This is so the Lord God gets the glory for anything we do for Him.

That brings a little chorus to mind that we sang as kids.

Chorus:Rise and shine and give God your glory, glory!

Rise and shine and give God your glory, glory!

Rise and shine and (clap once) give God your glory, glory!

Children of the Lord.

Then Lord said to Noah, “There’s gonna be a floody, floody.”

The Lord said to Noah, “There’s gonna be a floody, floody.”

“Get those children (clap once) out of the muddy, muddy!”

Children of the Lord.

Rise and shine and give God your glory, glory!

Rise and shine and (clap once) give God your glory, glory!

Children of the Lord.

Have a tremendous day in the Lord,

Let everything that has breath (this includes you)

Praise and thank the Lord.

Be Blessed, Be a Blessing;

Amen
