“Make a Joyful Noise”
Many times that phrase is used to tell someone that can’t sing all that well, just to make a joyful noise. Many people seem to like music because it gives them a thrill or a high if. However, the music in our worship services is for the Lord God, not us.
Please read Ephesians 5:17-20
17 Therefore do not be foolish but understand what the Lord’s will is.
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,
20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord God is the object of our worship. It is so easy to make it about us. Even if you are in a worship band or worshipping, reflect any glory or honor coming your way to Him.
Have a tremendous day in the Lord,
Let everything that has breath (this includes you) Praise and thank the Lord.
Be Blessed, Be a Blessing;
