Right God, Wrong Way

Icons and relics have been a part of worship for thousands of years.  They remind us about certain aspects of our worship.  In using these, we must always remember that God cannot be captured in an image of any kind.  When we try, we fail.  When we persist, we eventually worship the thing rather than God.  How is it, then, that we should worship?
